My name is Pervez Ahmad. But people call me Babu. I was born on 8th December 1944. When I was growing up, I started getting an urge that whenever saw a sick or wounded animal, I should try to help & care for that animal and If I could help, I tried.

Since childhood, I have been driven by a deep desire to help wounded or sick animals. Despite occasional mild scolding from my mother for bringing home strays, I persisted—eventually winning her support. My biggest sacrifice in caring for animals was losing the chance to marry. The family of my bride-to-be disapproved of the animals living in our home and forbade the marriage. As a result, I have remained a bachelor ever since.

I’ve led a full life filled with both highs and lows, working in various exciting fields such as film distribution, a bike wheel repair shop, a primary school called Fairy Land, and an open gym. Sadly, the bike repair shop was burgled, and I lost everything. Later, I had to close the school as my kind and generous nature made it hard to insist on fees, and many families couldn’t afford to pay. Without funds to support the teachers, the school had to shut down. Despite these challenges, I’ve also composed music for films—a passion I still pursue today.

Through it all, my commitment to helping animals has remained constant. Whatever resources I’ve had, I’ve used primarily to care for them. At times, this has been very stressful, even affecting my health, especially when I haven’t been in a position to help as much as I wanted.

Now, in my later years, caring for the animals in my area has become more challenging. Without any income, it’s sometimes difficult to afford even my own basic needs, let alone provide treatments for the animals.

This is why I decided to reach out for support.

I enjoy meeting new people and, with the help of a few traveler friends, I’ve created this site and some social media accounts. My goal is to seek financial donations to help local animals in need—whether for treatments, bandages, food, or assistance from veterinarians. In return, I promise to keep you updated on the animals I encounter and their journeys to recovery.

After a setback with my health, I’m grateful to finally be walking again and getting around.

While I was confined, I kept myself busy by helping others online and sharing advice.

Thank you all for being there and supporting me through it.
